Since 2003, the club has had an annual match where the closing season's U13 invite another club to play for the Simons Shield, named after Margaret Simons, our founder and Life President.The winner then keeps the Shield for the year. In 2005 Launton gave Bardwell something to think about with a 7-0 win at Bicester Town football ground. Bardwell won the Shield in the previous years.
